ANPR can be used for free flow site access or to activate barriers, site security with real-time alerts and we can also read the plates of arriving delivery vehicles and send them to your site bookings or operations system via HTTPS, XML or JSON.

ANPR can be very challenging and plate recognition results can vary depending on good or bad recognition software, camera technology, camera siting, system setup and installation cabling and connections etc.
Will all ANPR Systems Produce the Same Results?
In a word, no, but there can be many factors. ANPR results can vary enormously even with exactly the same system.
Cameras need to be correctly sited and setup with enough IR illumination on the plate (especially in the winter months). Recognition technology is also variable and some products’ claims relate to PC-based systems and not the edge-based smart camera being proposed to you where the recognition software is a cut down version.
